Paradise Rust
Abandoned cars on a beautiful Greek island. There are a lot of dead cars in this country, as there are many millions of such cars across the world. These ones are different because they lie in a magnificent landscape, on top of huge coastal cliffs. Are these cars really dead? I think they have been stashed in a kind of open air cryogenics, until any viable parts can be used. Cars here are kept going and going, and going, until any forward movement becomes impossible. Before then, they are kept on the road by mechanics - miracle workers who combine cannibalised parts with an oily alchemy. The pink flowers are oleanders. They are prolific in the Mediterranean, and particularly in this spot. Thery are also poisonous.
